Are you ready to begin your journey?

we’ll do it together

You’re in the right place

When was the last time you invested in yourself?

Many people who have never participated in a therapy session wonder what it will be like. Will the therapist ask you a lot of questions about your feelings? Will they ask you to discuss your fears? Will you have to talk about your childhood?

Your therapist will want to know why you’re seeking therapy. They may ask what kinds of needs or issues you’d like to address in your treatment together as well as what you’ve done to manage your mental health in the past. They’ll want to talk through what worked and what didn’t to get an understanding of how best to help you. Collaboratively, you will establish goals and what you would like to focus on in therapy.

Superbills: If your insurance is not listed this means we are not contracted with them; however, session fees may be covered in-full or in-part by your heath insurance or employee benefit plan.

This process involves us providing you with receipts (called ‘super bills’) for your appointments. You can then submit these super bills to your insurer for reimbursement. Check with your insurer to verify that your health plan covers ‘out-of-network’ behavioral health services.

 SOME QUESTIONS YOU MAY HAVE

  • We currently are in network with Optum, United, Cigna and Aetna. We can also provide a superbill for out of network services. Couples counseling is available with insurance only if medical necessity can be identified.

  • Contact us to discuss possibility of sliding scale.

  • Depending on your issue and therapy goals, therapy can last a few sessions or several weeks or years. While you likely want to know how long it's going to take to "feel better," there's no simple answer. It's very individualized.
