Sylvia Mejia, MA, LMFT
Hi! I’m Sylvia! I’m a Latina Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who was born and raised in Los Angeles, Ca. I pursued my undergraduate education in Childhood Development and Psychology. I obtained my MA in Counseling Psychology with a specialization in Marriage & Family Therapy.
Throughout my journey on becoming a licensed therapist I worked in several environments as an ABA therapist, high school counselor and community mental health clinician. Through this, I developed a sense of fascination for understanding people’s diverse backgrounds, which helps me work effectively with people from different ethnic and cultural communities, ages, and difficulties.
My free time is spent as a mother (to a baby boy and 3 fur children), wife and coffee shop owner. I’m looking forward to guiding you on your path of healing and growth.
